Album update December

Well it's just over a month until we release ... Come On In...The Water's Fine!

All the recording is done now and most of the mixing!!!

Look out for the making of video popping up fairly soon!!

The album will be available on iTunes and other various online outlets. We will also be doing some in CD format more details on that when we have them!

Can't wait for you all hear it 

Come On In.... The Water's Fine

We are excited to reveal the name our debut album....Come On In...The Water's Fine!

The final track list is still a few more weeks from being confirmed, will keep you updated!

Come On In...The Water’s Fine! Is going to be available from iTunes and there will only be a few limited addition hard copies made so you’ll have to message/email us if you want to buy one!

We are also filming a making of video, and clips of that will start to leak out as soon as the producer (Paul) is happy with the final cut!

Half term report

The report book would look good for us at the moment, probably around the half way point through the album now.  New song has guitar and drums recorded just needs one take tony to put down the bass and it won't be far off.  Still lots to finish and start though... Can't wait for everyone to hear it and we hope it's worth the wait!!! 

Album Update

Just a quick update on the album, there has been a late surge of songwriting and ideas so no songs are safe!

All of the demos have now come off the websites apart from Superman and Letting You Know...they might be on the album they might not?!?!

Update

It's been a little quiet over the last few weeks, but we are knee deep in recording and all is going to plan at the moment....

We are on track for the album to be released in the new year... we will keep you posted on a date for it!!

We have another gig at the Robin August bank holiday 2014 its a good one hope you can all make it!!

Shabby Road Sessions

Afternoon Purples

We have a bit of break now before the next gig which is in October at the Actress & Bishop in Birmingham, so we can concentrate on recording at Shabby Road.
We are aiming to finish a full length independent album ready for the New Year and to be available at our gig at the Robin and onward.  We are also in the process of recording a video so that might get leaked before the album is due just depends if we can keep Neil under control.  There will hopefully be some extra merch and freebies on the way as well, it's all early stages yet but keep checking Facebook/Twitter for updates.

Thank you again to everyone who is downloading the BandApp we are now up to 550 downloads, and to everyone liking the Facebook page it looks a more respectable total now!

All in all moving in the right direction but only thanks to everyone who supports us!

Shabby Road Sessions

Another good session at shabby road studios last night ended with the vocals down on Did I Ever Lose, and after a few hours of clipping, moving and editing the drums are down too! All that’s left is to get Birmingham teapot orchestra in to record the orchestral parts.

More Guitars Please



The guitars and bass are now down on another new track last night Did I Ever Lose, it’s a little different to the other recordings! One take Tony was on for with the return of the Ibanez although it wasn't technically one take! The guitars went down pretty quick apart from certain someone not being able to play 3 notes, and a poor Tom Morello impression!

Neil stepped up to the daddy Mac and crashed some drums down on another new track Superman!

Plenty of writing going on at the moment so will see how many we can get in the set for May.

Drums went down last night for 2 more new songs!! We are not far from an albums worth of tunes now!
Also rehearsing even more new tracks.... its endless writing, hopefully a video up later of rehearsals!

Recording Continues

Re mixing and mastering some of the older songs aswell as working on some new material which we will hopefully getting online very soon.
Almost an ablums worth of stuff now... wonder if anyone would be interested in a copy if it was to be produced>??

Back to HQ thursday for some more cut and paste and "to effect or not effect", and to work on the new set for the Flapper gig in April.

Gig Update

Hello Everyone!
Unfortunately due circumstances out of our control the gig at the Jagged Rock Lounge Wolverhampton will not be going ahead on the 30th March.
A future date is being arranged, and we will be posting some new dates up ASAP.
On the plus side we have more time to work on the new recordings.
